Lesson 1: How to stretch a Dollar
First off. What I am about to demonstrate is not an easy feat and takes practice and the right weather conditions. In the above picture are 3 items that I purchased at a local thrift store over the weekend. These three items were all bought for under $1. All together. Here is how it breaks down: Shoes- Vintage $0.50 Earrings- Vintage $0.25 Small bag- Vintage $0.20 Making the grand total with tax.... $0.89 Now as I said things like this don't always happen, it take patience and the right weather. In this case, 2 of the items, the shoes and the earrings, had been sitting around that place for a while. Sometimes, when I see something I like at a store but it seems kinds of a silly buy (like lime green wedges) I wait and see it they're still there the next time I stop in... if they're there, they were meant to be mine.
