What better way to show your patriotism then with and awesome and cost effective red, white and blue outfit?! This outfit took a little bit of searching but I finally found all the pieces and I think it turned out quite nicely.  I found the shorts first and then built it around them. Lets be honest, most normal girls look nothing like the fashion models you see on typical fashion blogs.  I have never been a dancer or a model, I didn't go to fashion school, I just get dressed... most days. Like most girls, I'd like to at least feel like I look cute when I step out my front door but I have a limited income and I don't have twig like legs, so even if I find a blog or outfit I like, it might look awful on me, which has inspired this blog. The older I get the more accepting of my body I have become.  I know I'm skinny, but I'm 4 ft. 10.  I am no super model by any means. My hips think it's time for me to have babies (which it is NOT) and my boobs are right behind them.  Not to mention, I am a recent college graduate and am feeling the squeeze of impending college loans closing in, so I'm not going to be swinging by my local (insert fancy store name of your choice here) anytime soon to pick up the latest fashions.
